Geneva (2017)

Marimba solo (5 octave)

Geneva was composed in the summer of 2017 following my trip to Europe with the Oklahoma Ambassadors of Music. While in Switzerland, we took a trip to the town of Geneva, named after the lake that occupies the area. I spent the afternoon walking the shoreline of the lake, mesmerized by the beauty of the scenery.

In the music, I try to capture the gently flowing of the water on the lake, as well as the majestic mountains that serve as a backdrop.
